  Journey is a not just a church that is part of your Sunday routine. Journey Church has a strong focus on rebuilding the family unit as well as saving souls for Christ. I have attended a variety of different churches throughout my life as a Christian, but it wasn't until I attended Journey Church that I finally felt like I was home. Journey Church has contemporary style of worship but it isn't overbearing like a rock concert in church. Will, the pastor, is the most encouraging and challenging pastor I have ever come across. He is young and energetic in his teachings so he can keep the attention of even the strongest ADD candidate. Though he is young, he is very educated and studied regarding his Bible knowledge. The children's ministry is amazing as well. I have a 1 year old as well as a 2 and a half year old and they love going to church to play with their friends. The Journey kids workers even teach shortened Bible verses to my 2 year old and he comes out so excited about learning about God.
  I would love to encourage anyone looking for a church in the Summerville/ Charleston area to try out Journey Church. I drive almost an hour to get there each Sunday so any locals should give it a try.

  It's family, there about changing lives through Christ and highly encourage groups, Bible study working in goose creek and ladson community and mission trips. We looked at 5 different churches after we walked in here it felt like family. Regardless of your background, race, color in Christ were all brothers and sisters it reflects here.
